Mid-to-Small Scale Multifamily

Mid-to-Small Scale Multifamily offers a structured living environment with professional management, bridging the gap between large apartment complexes and small multi-unit housing. Globally, corporate multifamily operations have driven market growth while in Korea, shifting demographics and rising housing demand are increasing its necessity. As an alternative solution, it enhances the efficiency and sustainability of urban living.

New Urban Neighborhood

IGIS[X] aims to shape Korea’s mid-to-small scale multifamily market by aligning with global trends. While corporate-led multifamily housing thrives overseas, Korea remains polarized between large apartment complexes and small multi-unit housing, with a lack of structured management.

Last-Mile Logistics

As speed and efficiency become key competitive factors, last-mile logistics is now essential for the growth of e-commerce and on-demand services. Globally, urban micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs) and AI-powered automation are enabling ultra-fast delivery. In Korea, increasing demand for overnight and instant delivery is driving the need for more advanced last-mile logistics networks.

Hyper-Efficient Supply Flow

The rise of e-commerce has made last-mile logistics more critical than ever. In the U.S., Europe, and Japan, urban micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs) are rapidly expanding, enabling ultra-fast delivery. In Korea, demand for same-day and overnight shipping has surged, but the lack of urban MFCs and automation limits efficiency.

Leveraging our experience in logistics center development, IGIS[X] is exploring opportunities in urban logistics infrastructure. We are researching MFC network development and AI- and robotics-driven automation to create a more efficient last-mile logistics model. Additionally, we are evaluating urban logistics hub development and operations, anchored by large fulfillment centers.

We are also assessing hybrid logistics systems that connect large fulfillment centers with MFCs, repurposing big-box retail stores and underutilized commercial spaces as logistics hubs. Our goal is to develop faster, more efficient urban logistics solutions that respond to industry shifts and contribute to a more sustainable logistics network.
